The Saddleback Room at City Hall in Mission Viejo is hosting the Claddagh Dance Company on Saturday, March 18, 2017.
This popular dance group had been celebrating Irish dance and culture since its inception in 1985, performing solos and in groups with both soft and hard shoes. The dancers in the company are local residents who have learned a mix of Irish dance, and compete around the world to show off their mastery of the art.
“Claddagh Dance Company is the premier Irish dancing school in Southern California. Claddagh Dance has added a touch of authentic Irish culture to the lives of Southern California communities since 1985,” says the group’s website.
The City of Mission Viejo is hosting the group, as a part of their community outreach. This is a terrific opportunity for families around the area to be exposed to such a vibrant and distinctive culture, especially right around the St. Patrick’s Day holiday!
We hope everyone will stop by the Saddleback Room on March 18 at 2 p.m. to see this remarkable dance troupe in action!
