The City of Mission Viejo is once again hosting its Relay for Life Tennis Tournament.
Meant to kick off this popular charity’s fundraising year within the Southern California community, this is the perfect event for families around Los Angeles County to come and support this wonderful cause.
Relay for Life is a member of the fundraising arm of the American Cancer Society, which has raised millions in support of research and technology to help combat this devastating disease.
The upcoming tennis tournament is a part of this ongoing effort, which will culminate at the annual Mission Viejo Relay for Life race that will be happening this June at Saddleback College.
Players in the tennis tournament will participate in a Round-Robin Doubles game that will see players divided up into two divisions based upon their overall skill level on the court. The 1st and 2nd place winners will receive prizes, while the event will also feature a silent auction and food.
Visit Mission Viejo’s Parks and Recreation website here to find out more about this event and how you can sign up.
We hope everyone will head out to the Marguerite Tennis Pavilion this month for this wonderful local fundraising event!
