Lexus is a top luxury automaker that is committed to offering reliability to its customers. Lexus wants its customers to have peace of mind with their purchases, which is why they offer extensive factory warranties on all new models purchased.

Basic Warranty

With the Basic Warranty, owners have coverage for up to 50,000 miles or 48 months for any repairs or adjustments that are needed. The repairs are only eligible if it's due to defects in materials or poor workmanship. Wheel alignment and balancing of the tires are also covered under this warranty for up to 12,000​miles or 12 months.

Powertrain Warranty

This warranty covers materials or workmanship if defects are present in vital components. The coverage is active up to 72 months or 70,000 miles, depending on which comes first. The defects covered under the Powertrain Warranty may be in the transmission, engine, front-wheel drive system, and rear-wheel-drive system.

Hybrid Warranty

The Hybrid Warranty provides coverage for up to eight years or 100,000 miles​, whichever comes first, and applies to the Hybrid Battery Control Module, Inverter with Converter, and Hybrid Control Module. The hybrid battery is covered for 10 years or 150,000 miles.

Corrosion Perforation Warranty

Although it's not common for Lexus models to have issues with corrosion, the Corrosion Perforation Warranty will repair or replace any original body panels that develop perforation from corrosion over the course of normal use during the first 72 months of ownership, regardless of miles driven.

South County Lexus also offers many different MPP plans which provide additional vehicle protection, including extended warranties for older models and GAP insurance, service contracts, and lease wear coverage.

Parts Warranty

All parts are covered for up to 12 months with unlimited mileage. This warranty doesn't include any coverage on batteries or repairs that are part of normal maintenance services.
