2019 Lexus RX Model Research

WHAT'S NEW FOR THE 2019 LEXUS RX?

In 2019, the RX will pair its world-famous luxury with cutting-edge technology. With three of the trims being hybrids and two featuring third-row seating, there is a Lexus RX for everyone. The exterior has a very chiseled, distinctive look while the interior is the utmost in elegance. With its agile handling and overall impressive performance, the 2019 RX is a dream to drive.

SIX GREAT STYLES AVAILABLE FOR THE 2019 LEXUS RX

There are six styles available in 2019 for the Lexus RX. They are the RX 350, RX 450h, RX 350L, RX 350 F Sport, RX 450h L, and the RX 450h F Sport. All of the 450h models are hybrids. Both of the models feature the "L" (the RX 450h L and the RX 350 L) have the third-row seating. All RX 350s come in either front-wheel or all-wheel drive, while the 450s are only available with all-wheel drive.

The RX 350, which would be considered the base model, comes equipped with a 12-Speaker, 8" Lexus Display Audio, Integrated XM® Satellite Radio. You have the option of getting heated and ventilated front seats. The Blind Spot Monitor with Rear Cross Traffic Alert and the Lexus Safety System+ come standard on the 2019 RX.

As you go up the trim levels, more and more luxury features become available. The RX 450H gives you heated seats in both the back and the front. You also get a moonroof, heated steering wheel, and power adjustable driver and passenger seats. This is all in an ultra fuel-efficient, low-emissions package.

Both of the available F Sport trims pair a dynamic sport-tuned suspension with bold styling. The 450h F Sport challenges the current ideas of what a hybrid car can achieve.

DOES THE 2019 LEXUS RX HAVE A STRONG DRIVETRAIN?

In the RX 350 and the RX 350 F Sport, you will find a 3.5 L V6-engine that can provide you with 295-horsepower. With the RX 350L, you have the same engine with a slight reduction in HP, where it goes down to 290. The hybrid vehicles all feature the Lexus Hybrid Drive engine and can deliver up to 308-horsepower. These engines absolutely give you the power you need to adventure. You will have exactly what you need for each situation. In addition to this standard engine, the Lexus ES also offers an optional in-line 4, 2.5 liter hybrid engine with up to 215 horsepower. The hybrid engine is designed to offer increased fuel efficiency. The fuel efficiency, on the hybrid engine, is rated at 43 miles per gallon city and 45 miles per gallon on the highway. The hybrid engine is available on the following trim levels: ES 300h, ES 300h Luxury, and ES 300h Ultra Luxury.

A HUGE VARIETY OF SAFETY INNOVATIONS FOR 2019

Coming standard on every Lexus RX is the Enform Safety Connect system. With this, your vehicle can call for help in the event of a collision. It can also help you in the event that your car is stolen. Using GPS technology, assistance can be sent directly to your vehicle in nearly any emergency situation.

The airbag system in all 2019 Lexus RX includes the ability to detect if the front passenger seat is occupied by a child, adult, or vacant. This system uses 10 airbags to keep you and your loved ones safe. The front airbags contain two chambers with an indentation in the center. This helps to provide occupant protection in the event of a severe, front-end collision.

Available LED fog lights can be added to any trim level of the Lexus RX. With this smart technology, the lights can add visibility to cornering by automatically turning the headlights in the direction you are turning. This gives you a better idea of what is on the road ahead while making you more visible to other drivers.

In order to keep you safe in the event of an accident, the Lexus RX has a rigid body with crumple zones. These zones will compress at a controlled rate, which helps to protect you and the other occupants of the vehicle.
