2 Modified Cars at SEMA

Taking place in Las Vegas at the Las Vegas Convention Center each year, the SEMA Show is an automotive trade event that is a must-attend event if you’re looking for access to demonstrations, vehicle debuts, and a variety of educational seminars. Lexus brought two modified models to this year’s event, which took place during the first weeks of November.

Lexus brought a modified version of the IS 500 to the SEMA Show this year. Created by Townsend Bell of Lexus and Hiraku Co., a number of impressive updates were made. A 3D printed body kit was featured, including exterior changes like updated side panels and a roof spoiler. The front lip is completely new, as well as the carbon fiber trunk design. The exterior of the vehicle was wrapped in a vinyl coating.

Performance was altered for the design of the IS 500 as well. An induction box was designed by A’PEXi, including four exhaust tips and a TOMS carbon suction pipe system. The rear and front chassis design was created by TOMS as well. Brakes are from Brembo, and the wheels are part of the Rotiform LAS-R catalog.

Also featured at the 2021 SEMA Show was the modified 350 F Sport. It was created by racecar driver Scott Pruett, along with DSPORT Magazine. An Artisan Spirits body kit is featured, including flared fenders that provide a very sleek look. Side skirt extensions and a carbon rear wing are included in the exterior design, along with 20-inch Rotiform wheels that are a matte bronze color. The powertrain remained unchanged due to supply concerns. Lexus has communicated that they will aim to make these changes in anticipation of next year’s show.
