You can see your car’s “wear bars.”
Every tire sold in the U.S. must have “war bars” that indicate that your tire’s tread is too low. Simply look to see if your tread is aligned with the wear bars, if so, bring your car in for a new set.
Your tires have bubbles in the sidewall.
If you see bubbles in your tire’s sidewall, then you could be looking at a serious problem that could affect the entire integrity of your wheel. To prevent a blow out, bring your car in for service immediately.
Your tires failed the penny test.
One of the most common, and easiest, test your can do for your ties, the penny test is terrific way to discover your tire’s health. All you have to do is place a penny in the tire’s tread with Lincoln upside down. IF you can see the top of the president’s head, you need new tires.
