Always wanted one

I bought my new GX 460 very recently. I owned a Toyota 4Runner Limited for over 10 years and loved it. My GX is exactly what I wanted, old school, enough technology without it being intrusive. V8 purrs like a well fed feline, beautifully crafted interior, build quality beyond anything built in Europe, vault like silence whilst driving. This is a brilliant example of body on frame engineering, refined as only Lexus can. - 5.0
Reliability that holds its value!

This luxury SUV is a go anywhere, kid hauling, reliable champ. After putting 100k miles on this truck, we have never had any issues with it and are confident we can throw another 100k or more on it with with very little problems. Had an 2009 GX before this one that my sister purchased from us. She loves it with 200k plus miles. We know there are a few German crossovers that ride a little smoother and quieter. If you don’t like to waste your $ on costly repairs, I wouldn’t recommend driving them much past the factory warranty. I have learned the hard way. - 5.0
A true luxury truck

We were in the market for a luxury SUV and the GX is really the only one that checked all the boxes. Coming from an FCA product (Jeep Grand Cherokee) reliability was huge for us. We wanted a third row and we wanted something that could tow. That basically took us down to a Q7 or the GX. This is our family weekend car and my wifes daily and she liked the high seating position and the interior quality of the GX better. The Q7 has WAY better technology but she didn't car about that. Also, out were we live we see 10-15 year old GX's all over the place, these things truly are tanks if properly maintained and though Audi's are great with their reliability getting better, a Lexus is still a smarter purchase.
